"I have an important relationship with Nature. It's a sort of ideal. It's really very important to me. It's kind of transcendental. It's very difficult to speak about painting; there's a sort of block but it's also so important to me, like a part of my family. Once it's a part of you, you can't go without it. If I lost my arms, I'd paint with my mouth."
